Chronic Chaos ...

Chronic Chaos Celebrates CD Release Saturday
by Bryan Nelson

Chronic Chaos, the Grant county based Melodic-Punk/Hardcore band, has been gaining alot of ground in the central Indiana underground scene as of late. This past year they have had the oppurtunity to share the stage with such Indie-Powerhouse's as Agnostic Front, Sloppy Seconds, The Suicide Machines, Bigwig, Mustard Plug, The Gadjits, The Casualties, and Rise Against. By supporting these acts and by their constant touring schedule, Chronic Chaos, has started quite a buzz in and around the Hoosier state.

Chronic Chaos consists of Chris Swinney(Guitar), Aaron Glass(Vocals & Guitar), Troy Losure(Vocals & Bass), and Jason Losure(Drums). Although their sound has been described as "too punk for the metal kids" and "too metal for the punk kids", Chronic Chaos seem to have found a place with both groups. With influences as diverse as Thrice, Metallica, Iron Maden, Poison The Well, Tourniquet, Good Riddance, and Bad Religion...Chronic Chaos combine many styles of Punk, Metal, and Hardcore to create a sound that is all their own.

In May 2001 Chronic Chaos self released their debut Full Length CD, Despite The Consequences. "DTC" was recorded in Chicago, IL at Bombshelter Studios by Mr. Dan Precision of 88 Fingers Louie/Rise Against fame. The cd garnered rave reviews from Maximum Rock ' N ' Roll,, and many national zines. "Despite The consequences" has since sold out of its initial 1000 unit pressing, after two US tours and numerous local and regional shows.

In May 2002 Chronic Chaos ventured back to Chicago to begin recording there new CD entitled, Wait To Watch Me Burn. Over three months of recording, mixing, and mastering later....Chronic Chaos have produced their best representation to date. The first MP3 single, "Climb To The Top", has been floating around the top 10 in the Punk/Hardcore charts since July. Go check it out @

Chronic Chaos plans on releasing Wait To Watch Me Burn near the end of October, followed up immeadiately with a full US Tour.
